To get your petition filed, we will need the following documents:

Required at the Time of Filing:

• Photocopy of the U.S. Citizen’s Passport: Include the page with personal details and any pages showing entry/exit stamps.
• Copy of the U.S. Citizen’s Birth Certificate or U.S. Passport: This confirms U.S. citizenship.
• Documentation for All Prior Marriages: If either person has been previously married, include divorce decrees, annulment papers, or death certificates.
• Photos of You Together: To prove that you’ve met in person as required.

Required Later in the Process:

• Evidence of Financial Support:
• Completed Affidavit of Support.
• Copy of the U.S. citizen’s most recent federal tax return and W-2, or current pay stubs.

Proof of Ongoing Relationship:

• Copies of cards, letters, emails, chat logs, phone bills, or social media messages showing continued contact.
